Past Projects

Star Youth Association (SYA)

Water & Agriculture Related Projects

Star Youth Association (SYA) has taken effective projects on water and Agriculture that aim to improve water conservation, irrigation, and sustainable farming practices. We promote rainwater harvesting, watershed development, and the use of organic fertilizers. By empowering farmers with knowledge and resources, these initiatives ensure better crop yield, soil health, and climate resilience. Access to clean water for both agriculture and domestic use is prioritized, especially in drought-prone or marginalized rural communities.

Gender Related Projects

Our Gender-related projects focus on promoting equality, empowering women and gender minorities, and challenging harmful norms. These initiatives include skill training, legal awareness, and leadership development. We support survivors of gender-based violence, advocate for equal rights, and provide platforms for women’s voices in community decision-making. The aim is to create inclusive spaces where gender justice and equitable opportunities thrive across all aspects of life.

Dalit Empowerment & Welfare Related Projects

These projects address caste-based discrimination and work toward the social, economic, and educational empowerment of Dalit communities. Activities include legal awareness, capacity building, access to education and healthcare, and livelihood support. We aim to ensure dignity, rights, and inclusion of Dalits in mainstream development. Special focus is given to strengthening Dalit leadership, promoting land rights, and advocating against caste-based atrocities.

Children Related Projects

Children-related projects focus on child protection, education, health, and overall development. Interventions include non-formal education, nutrition support, child rights awareness, and recreational programs. The goal is to create safe, nurturing environments where children can thrive emotionally and physically. These projects also work to prevent child labor, child marriage, and abuse while encouraging community responsibility for children’s well-being and rights.

Education Related Projects

Education projects aim to enhance access to quality learning at all levels. We support school infrastructure, digital learning, teacher training, and scholarships for marginalized students. Emphasis is placed on inclusive education for girls, Dalits, and children with disabilities. Community involvement, alternative education models, and after-school support ensure retention and holistic development. These efforts help build a foundation for empowerment through knowledge.

Micro Credit & Micro Insurance Related Projects

These projects empower marginalized groups, especially women, by providing small loans and insurance schemes. We promote financial literacy, savings groups, and sustainable entrepreneurship. The aim is to reduce poverty, support small businesses, and build economic resilience. Micro insurance helps cover health, crop, and asset risks. These initiatives create self-reliant communities capable of managing financial uncertainties and achieving economic independence.

Forest Management Related Projects

Forest management projects involve local communities in conserving forest ecosystems and biodiversity. Activities include afforestation, sustainable harvesting, and protecting traditional forest rights. These initiatives promote eco-friendly livelihoods like honey collection and herbal medicine preparation. Community forest groups are trained to monitor and manage forest resources responsibly. The goal is to balance environmental conservation with the livelihood needs of forest-dependent populations.
